Psychological Assessment & Diagnosis
Professional psychological assessment, diagnostic evaluation and written reporting
Psychological assessment is a structured process used to understand your symptoms, experiences and patterns of functioning. Depending on your concerns, the assessment may include clinical interviews, psychological questionnaires, relevant personal history and evaluation of how symptoms affect your daily life.
The purpose is not simply to obtain a test score. Information from the different parts of the assessment is considered together to form a clear clinical picture and, where supported by the findings, a diagnostic conclusion.
Following the assessment, you will receive a clear explanation of the findings, recommendations for next steps and, when requested, a written psychological diagnostic assessment report.

How the Assessment Works
1. Initial Consultation
We discuss your symptoms, concerns and relevant history.
2. Assessment
Appropriate psychological questionnaires and assessment tools are used.
3. Evaluation
Your interview and assessment results are reviewed together.
4. Results & Report
You receive a clear explanation of the findings, diagnostic conclusion where appropriate, and recommendations for next steps.
